John Fauver will demonstrate iWork, Apple’s amazing productivity suite for the Mac. It includes Pages for word processing, Numbers for spreadsheets, and Keynote for presentations.
Visit the mother ship for more information about iWork.
This is the second month where we feature a session we call MacGurus where paid up members can get one-on-one help for a few minutes with knowledgeable members of our group. MacGurus will start at 6:00. Your turn will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so get there early. Get organized with your question because if others are waiting, we will limit your session to 10 minutes. (You may be able to arrange an outside meeting if you need more time.) We’re limiting MacGurus to a half hour (three 10-minutes sessions) since we don’t want our gurus to miss the main meeting. And besides, we need them to answer questions during the Q & A.
6:30 Q & A – This is our regular session open to everybody.
Big Time Raffle – WOW!
David Smith from Capitol Macintosh has generously donated an iPod Shuffle to be included in our raffle this month!
You must be a paid up member to pick up your free ticket at the door. What a value for your $20 membership!
We also have a second copy of software bundle we raffled off last month from Mac Heist . The bundle includes 12 software applications which we will raffle as one package. (Pay your dues.) The specific items and their value are listed below and a short description of each app is below that. For more complete information go to their website. They’ll even let you download a demo.
Because a couple slips of paper blew off the desk, we also have a couple other programs left over from the bundle we raffled off at the last meeting.
See you there!
