Final Cut Pro

And yet another ROAD TRIP! Click here for a map

What do the following movies have in common?

Cold Mountain, Napoleon Dynamite, Jarhead, Happy Feet, No Country for Old Men, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, True Grit, The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

They were all edited with Final Cut Pro, a $299 Apple program. Famed filmmakers the Coen Brothers have used Final Cut Pro to edit virtually all of their films made in the past decade. Even if you’re not interested in editing your own movies, seeing how it’s done is like having a magician show you his tricks. It’s amazing!

This month Brian Town*, CEO of Michigan Creative, gives us a look behind the curtain.

If you’d like to know more about Final Cut Pro before the meeting, here’s a link to it on Apple’s website.
