NOTICE: Room Change for this meeting only. We’re meeting in room 165 (on first floor) of A&S for January only.
Join us Thursday, January 15, for Chris McQueen and Anton Bollen from TechSmith will show us Camtasia Studio for the Mac and Jing Pro, two of their newest products. TechSmith is a software company from Okemos with over 100 employees. Some of our members participated in paid product testing on the Mac for the company.
Why would you want to create screen captures? Recently a lengthy email was sent to one of our board members explaining how to move images from iPhoto onto a CD for burning. But it turns out if a short video was made of the process, we could have saved a lot of confusion. If a picture is worth a thousand words, what do you suppose a short movie is worth?
We’ll meet in 205 B of the Arts & Sciences (A&S) building at Lansing Community College. It’s on the second floor next to the cafeteria.
6:00 Come early and take advantage of our MacGurus, where paid up members can get one-on-one help for a few minutes with knowledgeable members of our group. Your turn will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
6:30 Q & A – This is our regular session open to everybody.
You must be a paid up member to pick up your free ticket at the door. This month we’ll be giving away an HP inkjet printer! Just one more reason to become a member.
