Jonathan Stars presents
Preserve those precious video memories!

Do you still have videotapes collecting dust on the shelf? Maybe some of them are family movies that really matter. Aside from collecting dust, over time the tape itself gets gummy and will clog up your video player. What to do?!

At the August 16 LAMALUG meeting, Jonathan Stars will demonstrate how to "bake" the tapes and transfer them into your Mac with iMovie and onto DVD or a hard drive. (For you audiophiles, the baking technique applies to reel to reel and cassette tapes, too. So be there for this invaluable lesson.)

Biography
Nearly twenty years ago, Jonathan Stars was an an award-winning singer, songwriter and comedian with 12 albums to his credit. He has a tapeless Pro Tools digital recording studio.

Jonathan is also author of six editions of Learn FileMaker Pro, a regular contributor to FileMaker Pro Advisor magazine and a member of the FileMaker Solutions Alliance. He is a FileMaker Certified developer.

As far as we know, we meet at 205B A&S - directions below - but always check this page before each meeting as the program and location could change.
