Next Meeting
Thurs, Oct 18, 2007
205B A&S, Lansing Community College
6:30-8:00 pm
Jonathan Stars will be making a presentation on photo masking, but there is more.
We need your help!
At this week's meeting, let's brainstorm to keep LAMALUG alive.
John Belen and I have resigned from the club leadership (see below) and nobody has stepped forward to replace us. We have nobody to take over the lamalug.org website, nobody to send out email to the membership, nobody to chair the meetings, and we need topics and presenters for upcoming meetings. One Board Member has suggested that the club be dissolved. Is that really what you want? Weren't all the meetings this year worthwhile to you?
Is this the end of LAMALUG, or are you willing to help keep it alive? Do you know anything about programming a website, or would you be willing to take responsibility for a topic and presenter for one or two meetings annually as the Board Members now do? It's time for you to pay the club back with your time and energy. Please help us avoid dissolution. I'm willing to help with transition.
Ed Noonan, former President & Webmaster

Wanted LAMALUG Webmaster and President - 9/2007
It is with sadness after 11 years as LAMALUG's Webmaster and something less as LAMALUG's President (I can't recall when I took over), that family commitments force my resignation. If you have any interest in sharing your Mac knowledge with other Mac users and/or Web programming on the Mac, here's your chance. To this point, I've used Adobe GoLive to program lamalug.org, but if you'd like to manage it with some other Mac Web editor, I'm sure you can be accommodated and I'll be glad to help with with the transition. I wish LAMALUG my best and hope to continue to attend meetings whenever possible. Ed Noonan, President/Webmaster
If you're interested in either or both of these positions, please email <board at LAMALUG.org> (sorry I didn't post a link, but we're getting too much spam email - Ed)

If you know something about the Mac and are willing to serve your fellow Mac users, please email <board at LAMALUG.org>
