Digital Canvas Jonathan Stars will demonstrate a method he has developed over the past 15 years by which he uses Photoshop to turn photos into artwork on canvas. He will bring some finished pieces and show the photos they came from. Then he'll take a photo through the process (while attendees make suggestions). Although it won't be possible to produce a final painting, you will be able to see what the finished work would look like.

WWDC We'll also take a look some preview movies of the most interesting features of Leopard taken from the World Wide [Apple] Developers Conference last week.

Biography Nearly twenty years ago, Jonathan Stars was an an award-winning singer, songwriter and comedian with 12 albums to his credit. He started using FileMaker to keep track of his entertainment business. Soon, members of his computer user group were hiring him to make databases for their businesses.
Jonathan is author of five editions of his Learn FileMaker Pro book, a regular contributor to FileMaker Pro Advisor magazine and a member of the FileMaker Solutions Alliance. He is a FileMaker Certified developer.

REGULAR MEETING LOCATION: 205B Arts & Science (A&S) - Lansing Community College. A&S is the 2nd building east of the NE corner of Capitol and Shiawassie - #10 (red) on the map below.

There is an LCC ramp to the NE, a City ramp directly S, a parking lot to the SW, handicap parking on the E side of the building and free on-street parking. Charges are $1/hr in the LCC ramp and $1.50/hr in the City of Lansing's ramp above Gibson's Books & Beans. Students with Star Card IDs pay 20 cents per half hour in the LCC ramp.
