What Makes A Good Digital Photo - Thom Cannell

Professional photographer Thom Cannell will discuss what makes a good photograph and how to make a good photograph great. In addition to presenting his ideas about composition, lighting, resolution, and in-the-computer manipulation of images, he will talk about features of the digital camera and their benefits. His presentation will be geared toward the novice as well as to experienced amateur photographers.

REGULAR MEETING LOCATION: 205B Arts & Science (A&S) - Lansing Community College. A&S is the 2nd building east of the NE corner of Capitol and Shiawassie - #10 (red) on the map below.

There is an LCC ramp to the NE, a City ramp directly S, a parking lot to the SW, handicap parking on the E side of the building and free on-street parking. Charges are $1/hr in the LCC ramp and $1.50/hr in the City of Lansing's ramp above Gibson's Books & Beans. Students with Star Card IDs pay 20 cents per half hour in the LCC ramp.
