Next Meeting: Thursday, April 20, 2006 Our presentation this month was originally scheduled as a presentation on blogging, which is short for "web log" or online journal or diary. Our presenter is unable to make it so we're going to wing it! There is an awful lot of news in the Mac world right now, and a LOT to be excited about. So we'll kick off our meeting tomorrow as scheduled with our Q&A at 6:30pm, room 205B in the Arts and Sciences building at LCC. When you have exhausted all your questions we have a few short presentations on a product called Melodye Uno by Jonathan Stars, and then John Belen will show you a few of the things that he is doing with iWeb in the field of blogging. As always, the first half hour of our membership meetings are devoted to Q&A, an opportunity to get all your Mac questions answered. At the March, 2006 meeting, Dr. R. Taylor Scott, Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Director of Osteopathic Internship at Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine demonstrated what he does with the Video iPod in the teaching of Medical Students. He, and Jeff Bartrem, a building construction expert and entrepreneur, showed how to convert Digital Video and/or DVD into iPod format (using Handbrake), how to import into iTunes, and then to synch to the iPod. They also showed how to record TV shows and DVD movies onto the iPod.
